Satori

CASE NR.2

Exhibition | Collcection

Translation: Sudden Enlightenment

Mediums: Resin, Neodymium magnets, photograph/ transparency, copper

Satori - These kinaesthetic wearable sculptures function as tactile sensory artefacts, embedding neodymium magnets of opposing polarity within their structures to generate subtle shifting pressures and sensations across the skin as the body moves. Encased within translucent layered forms, illuminated details reveal embedded drawings, etchings, and fragments of imagery, each originating from a single sensorial moment. Activated through movement, touch, and light, the works become intimate records of embodied experience: preserving traces of memory, perception, and sensory translation within wearable sculptural forms.
